Okay so this couple was sooooo fun! I am so excited for them! I drove down to Utah to meet up with them for these pics and my car broke down on the freeway 15 minutes before the appointment... AAA roadside service was there in 20 and I ended up being 40 minutes late BUT that didn't stop them from showing how cute and happy they are to be IN LOVE!

So, crazy story, my sister was telling me about this awesome shop on Etsy.com. I looked up the shop and I just LOVED the stuff... its all hand knitted and just so warm and cozy looking. Then a week or so later I took the kids to McDonalds and saw this adorable baby with an adorable knit hat and commented to his mom as to how cute it was. She mentioned that she knitted it herself and will probably be selling them soon on her etsy shop. I got her card, but didn't look at it til I typed her etsy address into my search engine, and sure enough it was the same shop... I met "THE BALL OF YARN" girl in the flesh. Some of you might be familiar with her chunky wool headbands being sold in the new Persnickity store in the Sandy Mall. She is so cute! I emailed her to tell her how much I was looking forward to getting one of those cute elf beanies to find out I was gonna be able to photograph a few of her new products! Far from Sleepy...

As soon as mom pulled this little guy out of his car seat he was bright eyed and bushy tailed... no matter what they tried they could not get him to fall asleep. Well maybe for a couple minutes to snap this pic, but for two hours they rocked and fed and shhh'd and snuggled this little guy with no luck. However, I am very grateful for amazing cameras with amazing shutter speeds... am I right? We got a few pics with blinks and tired droopy lids, and we also got some wide bright eyes. SO here you go mom and dad... here's your super cute proofs... send your thanks to Canon!

This couple is sooooo cute! They are so sweet to eachother, and everyone around them. Just SOOO Nice!!! They didn't smash any cake in eachothers faces, get stressed out about the wedding and she never complained about taking bridals in 10 degree weather. Poor girl!

30 degree air that is, but they never stopped smiling! They just were too much fun, I remember being engaged!!!! So much fun and NOTHING seems to take your mind off of that special person... even when your photographer tells you to stand in the middle of the road and everyone is watching you!

Gorgeous EYES!

This little guy had the most beautiful eyes! He was so good during this shoot! We zipped thru 3 outfits and then nudes at the end and he was such a good sport, although he DID NOT want the cowboy hat on so we were lucky to get just one! But once he was stuffing cake in those cute cheeks he was fine!

One Year Older!

Creative Genius!

My sister is a creative genius! And has decided to start selling her stuff! And her stuff is AWESOME! She called me the other day super excited to show me this headband she made... and I have to say ... IT'S GORGEOUS! What do you think?

Happy Birthday Kiddo!

This little siren just turned two! Can you believe her bright red hair? I just love it! And she was so shy when she came in, we spent the first 10 minutes just playing pass with the big red ball. By the end however, she was a crazy, twirling ballerina! Such a fun session!

My new studio!!!

Can you tell I am having so much fun in my new studio? I can do whatever I want and I don't have to set up or take down any backgrounds... what a hassle that was! I love that I can just grab one of the kids and head downstairs for 5 minutes and get a great pic every time! Although Laney was in a good mood for about two minutes then lost it(as you can see)! But I love it!
As some of you may know, I've been trying to get a princess and the pea pic for quite a while and NOTHING was working for me. My backgrounds weren't big enough, the quilts didn't coordinate, Laney was too small, Baylee was too big, etc. But I FINALLY GOT IT! The quilts are a courtesy of Amy at the Quilt Shoppe in Idaho Falls... I love the Quilt Shoppe... all the colors and patterns and fabrics are soooo inspiring! Go check it out! Her new Katie Cupcake kids clothes patterns will be out in May and guess who is in the running for taking the cover pics? Me... I'm so excited! Wish me luck! Happy Birthday!

This girly's mom booked an appointment, and in her email she wrote a super cute paragraph of all the things her daughter loves. Unicorns, dress up, princesses, dancing, etc. It just made her session so much fun for all of us, and for her birthday I let her pick all her outfits and all her backgrounds, although I had to strongly advise against the pink tutu on the pink background...sometimes you can get too much pink!
