Everytime I get a session where the parents think that is just went horribly wrong, the song comes into my head about how this short period of frustrating kid moments really doesn't last that long. And the session NEVER goes as bad as we think it does. Isn't he so cute with that super red hair and two teeth? At least I was cracking up!
because this little one broke her collar bone. Tuesday after noon while kids were playing another room, I hear my oldest say, "Come here Laney, I'll give you a piggy back ride." I yelled no PIGGY BACK rides." But it was too late... THUMP. She cried A LOT, but I chalked it up to its nap time and put her to bed. It wasn't until she woke up that afternoon and wasn't moving her right arm that I figured I better take her in. Sure enough that tiny little collar bone had broken. They sent us home with a butterfly brace and Tylenol. We go back in 3 weeks for another x-ray. However, two days later and she's jumping around and running and just living her life. Every once in a while she falls and it hurts her, but she's a tough kid and keeps going. SO that is why I am behind this week. Peeks are coming!
for family sessions. There must be something about leaves falling that families start preparing for Christmas card pics. I love that this family chose red with the yellow and orange leaves. So pretty!
Here are a couple classes I am offering come December. So man of you have asked when I would be doing a workshop and I am just so nervous to do a full on Photo workshop so I'm getting my feet wet with Photoshop. I love using my photoshop to
embellish my pictures to make gorgeous scrapbook pages
and then
publish my scrap pages.
(My kids love that they are in the living room for them to look through over and over. My old "non"digital scrapbooks are huge and bulky and not easy to look at.) So here you go, just in time to design your very own Christmas cards, gift tags or photo books for gifts.

Side Note: Laney is my animal lover! She espeiclaly loves kitties and puppies. She was my little tag along for this shoot and she just kept herself busy with a little friend she found in the field.
