My Asher and I decided a few Saturdays ago to go exploring. We found some really fun sticks that he had fun cutting down with a little saw of Daddy's and together we built a teepee. Then it turned into an A frame. I thought it was so cute that we packed it up in the car and headed out for a photo shoot snagging a couple marshmallows from a neighbor on the way out. And this was my favorite shot of the session so I submitted it to Model Life's $1000 Cover Contest and... drum roll please.... WE WON!!!! To see the full issue click

So many times we see those ads for free cute baby contests and enter our kids and then just forget about it until it hits us that we entered a contest so long ago and we must not have won or we would have heard by now. Love this fam! They have the sweetest twin boys who come over and play so nicely that I forget they are even there. What a fun bunch!
I'm sure everyone may think that every kid BUT theirs walks into a studio, smiles on cue, creates the best pics, then happily leaves a successful session. NOPE! It takes at least 10-15 minutes just to get your kids to smile for me. But so worth the time and my CRAZY efforts!
